Y Wern Access Statement

Y Wern is a 5 bedroom house set in its own grounds overlooking Coleg Harlech and Tremadog Bay. Guests can park next to the property and also have use of the college car park near by.

 Access to the property is up a short but fairly steep slope up from the main road. There is also access up a flight of steep steps directly from the road below. 

 There is a step up to both the front and back doors.

 Y Wern is approximately ¼  mile from Harlech Station, but up a steep incline. There is a limited bus service which passes the building.

 Y Wern is an old listed property and has not yet been modified to the extent that it would be fully accessible to wheelchair users.

 There is bedroom available on the ground floor which has a sink.

 There is a toilet downstairs, however there is not be space for a wheel chair to access this room, the main bathroom for the property is upstairs.

 There is no lift in the building. .

 There is good mobile phone coverage in the area.

Assistance dogs are welcomed, and although there is no free run available in the grounds, the surrounding area is more than adequate to exercise a dog.

 A portable hearing loop is available, but please give prior notice as it will need to be installed.

 For those not taking the self catering option, a large range of dietary requirements can be met.
