Large Self Catering Group Accommodation in Harlech, Snowdonia

The property is managed by Coleg Harlech WEA and is often used for educational purposes as well as family reunions and group holidays as such provides no-frills and no-fuss self catering accommodation. The basic but clean standard of the accommodation is reflected in the budget price

Plas Amherst accommodates 30 guests in 23 rooms (16 single and 7 twin, all include a wash basin and 14 also include a toilet). The property has been recently renovated and has plenty of showers and toilets near to the bedrooms.

There are two comfortable lounge areas one of which includes a Television and DVD plus there is a dining area which can seat up to 30 people at a time.

The property includes a commercial kitchen which guests can use for self catering lets. If you are interested in a catered option please contact us to discuss your requirements.

There is limited parking on site but if required cars may be parked on the college property nearby. A lift is available and there are some ground floor bedrooms which are suitable for guests with mobility problems.

Plas Amherst is ideal for large groups and families. Located in the Snowdonia National Park with views from some of the bedrooms of the Tremadog Bay, this is a perfect location for anyone wanting to enjoy the great outdoors. Harlech has a sandy beach with miles of safe sheltered bathing. The Royal St David's Golf Course  and Harlech Castle are both nearby.

For families with children there are plenty of activities to keep them entertained including mountain biking at Coed y Brenin, swimming in the nearby Harlech pool, the Fun Centre in Caernarfon, slate mines and childrens farm at Llanfair plus there are three tree top adventure parks in the area and much more.

To book Plas Amherst first check that the property is available, you can then download a booking form and return with £60 deposit to secure the property (made payable to Coleg Harlech WEA(N)). Final payment is due 6 weeks prior to arrival.
