Mountain Scrambling Course, Harlech, Snowdonia
This course is suitable for those with hill walking experience who want to learn the technical scrambling skills needed to venture safely onto steeper, rocky terrain.
Our experienced instructors will help you master efficient rope work; teaching you to switch smoothly between soloing without a rope to moving together using a shortened rope, coils and natural runners for protection and then when necessary being able to pitch the short, hard sections.
This skill set, once learned, will hold you in good stead in most alpine mountaineering situations.
Equipment is provided; all under 18s must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
